H. Moser & Cie Heritage Centre Seconds Funky Blue (Ref 8200-1201)
Parkbury's View: ROAARR!! A lovely pilot watch themed timepiece with modern flair. Nobody, and i mean NOBODY, makes fantastic fumé dials like Moser and this watch really shows it off. If you already have divers and chronographs in your collection, maybe it's time for a modern aviator? Just a thought...
Dunn's Assessment: Moser is a brand with a sense of humor. They also have a sense of haute horology like no other Swiss brand out there. They are growing in popularity and this watch is a great entry point.
Story behind the watch: Founded in 1828, boutique brand H. Moser & Cie's watches have ranged from basic three-hand timepieces to grande complications. All their watches are true works of art, even this entry level aviator, due to the completely in-house production of mechanical movements to each individual hairspring. Besides the sapphire crystals and leather straps, everything about Moser watches is made in-house. Very few Swiss watch companies can offer this nowadays. This rare watch manufacturer pushes out as few as a thousand watches or so per year. This is "the other" watch company from Schaffhausen, Switzerland. For those who know, know. The mesmerizing Funky Blue dial will leave you staring at your watch without actually reading its time.

Opinions of notable watch connoisseurs "The background, which gradually gets darker from the center outwards, directly evokes the funky 70s. " -- Horobox
"The watch has a familiar design, for good reason: it’s modelled on early pilot’s watches from the 1920s that were produced by a host of brands including Longines and Zenith" -- SJX
